Collaboration with SIES – Announcement
Fieldwork Education announces exclusive collaboration with Egyptian education company, Smart International Educational Services.
Fieldwork Education is pleased to announce an exclusive collaboration agreement with Smart International Educational Services (SIES) to deliver the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC) to schools in Egypt.
Together, Fieldwork Education and SIES will use the IEYC and IPC to help children improve their knowledge, skills and understanding which will reflect in whole school improvement.
“We are absolutely delighted to be collaborating with SIES in Egypt and have formed a strong relationship with them. Their expertise and knowledge of Egyptian schools is excellent and more importantly, they also share the same philosophy and approach to learning as Fieldwork Education. We very much look forward to a successful collaboration to ensure that Egyptian schools can benefit from our learning focused curriculum” says Richard Davies, Director of Fieldwork Education.
SIES and Fieldwork are committed to improving learning in classrooms by providing students with a balanced, international-minded education that thoroughly prepares them both academically and personally. The collaboration will allow Fieldwork and SIES to further grow in the region while also addressing a specific need for curriculum coverage.
“We take education in Egypt very seriously, but currently there is no single curriculum that covers all non-core subjects, and as a result, they are often neglected. The IPC is a natural fit for Egyptian schools who are looking to provide a solid foundation in these subjects, which in turn will reflect in the results of the core subjects. We look forward to bringing the IPC and IEYC to local, national and international schools in our region,” says Dr. Waleed El Salmi, Director of SIES, Board Member, Futures School at Pyramid Heights.
