Scottish School Praises IPC
This week, Lorraine Napier, Headteacher Kirkhill Nursery/Infants School in Aberdeen, Scotland, which has now been using the IPC for over twelve months said:
\“The learning goals of the International Primary Curriculum match really well with the framework of Curriculum for Excellence (the Scottish National Curriculum). We’re not working with two different curriculums; it’s one. The IPC is like the backbone for Curriculum for Excellence; totally enhancing it. The IPC has been very, very successful for helping us meet the needs of Curriculum for Excellence. Curriculum for Excellence gives us a good framework, the IPC puts the meat on the bones for us. The IPC strapline: Great Learning, Great Teaching, Great Fun, it’s absolutely true. That really is what it is!\”
