New school in Papua New Guinea
Kalibobo School has become the first school in Papua New Guinea to become an IPC member school. The school is located within lush lawns and gardens overlooking Astrolabe Bay.
“The Kalibobo School is located in the coastal town of Madang in Papua New Guinea,” says Founding Director, Teresa Litz. “We have two multi-level classes of six different nationalities and we needed an international curriculum that covered a range of subject areas yet was flexible enough to work for a multi-level group. Through the IPC, our children are discovering a whole new world of learning, where on any given day they can choose to be at the helm, manning the deck or just enjoying the view, taking it all in. They find it so easy to participate regardless of where their individual interests and strengths lie. We love the IPC for its fresh, modern approach and we’re very proud to be a part of it.”
