IMYC in Action

Launching the Big Idea – ‘Success over time requires persistence’ –  at the School of Research Science, UAE

The Resilience unit is just 1 of 30 units available within the IMYC; all based around an abstract conceptual theme (known as the Big Idea). The Big Idea of the Resilience unit is: ‘Success over time requires persistence’. Here is how the School of Research Science in the United Arab Emirates introduced the Big Idea that ‘Success over time requires persistence’ to the Year 8 students. The students then focused on six weeks of connected learning, during which time all their subject learning was linked to the Big Idea that ‘Success over time requires persistence.’
