Welcome to the IMYC

The International Middle Years Curriculum is a new curriculum for 11-14 year-olds that responds to three key challenges:

  • To provide a way for students to experience some of the learning benefits primary children are getting from the International Primary Curriculum.
  • To help teachers help 11-14 year-old students learn in ways that retain their engagement and interest and respond to the particular needs of their developing brains.
  • To meet both of the above challenges without asking schools to completely change their systems and structures.
